Finally, the ranged and magic defenders to accompany last week’s release are here, filling out your top-end arsenal with awesome and versatile off-hands which you can either use for yourself or sell for more than just cheap RS gold to players who miss the event!

Novtumber Festival

Novtumber Festival

Everyone with green thumbs – come celebrate! It’s time to celebrate the natural glory of Gielinor this weekend with the Novtumber Festival on Treasure Hunter, Runescape gold hunters! From 00:00 UTC on 19th November until 23:59 UTC on 23rd November, Novtumber Festival seeds will be available in Treasure Hunter chests, a godsend for those looking to train Farming and Prayer.

Novtumber Festival Seeds

Unlike regular seeds, you don’t need a patch as the Novtumber Festival seeds will grow anywhere that you can make a fire. Plant them and watch as they quickly sprout to maturity. Once they have matured, you have to options:

  • Pick the produce and offer it up for Prayer XP. As a result, you may get ‘perfect’ produce from time to time, which yields more XP for your character.
  • Forgo the produce for Farming XP and the chance to get back some of your seeds

Note that you’ve got a limited time to harvest them before they decay, giving only token XP. So remember, don’t plant too many at once to avoid any waste!

Magic Beans and More

In addition to the Harvest Festival seeds, magic beans are returning, and can be obtained as you gain Farming XP from lamps, or from farming itself. These can be exchanged with Martin the Master for seeds and a cosmetic hoe. Additionally, pieces of the Farmer’s outfit and First Age Prayer outfit will be available on Treasure Hunter, and all lamps and stars used on Farming or Prayer will yield +25% XP. You can also sell these event-exclusive finds for rsgold if you don’t want to use them for yourself, so either way, you benefit from participating in this event.

If you’d like more, you can also buy Keys on the website, or by clicking ‘Buy Keys’ within the Treasure Hunter interface in-game, with cheap Runescape gold.

What are you waiting for, gold4rs fans? Let’s start treasure hunting!

Adopt a Big Cat to Help Save Animals – Runescape

Adopt a Big Cat

Playing games may be fun, but sometimes people assume it is pointless fun. RSgold hunters have a chance to prove naysayers wrong however. Jagex is teaming up with the World Wildlife Fund for a fun charity event. Take a break from hunting cheap RS gold for your gold4RS and see how you can help animals. You’ll get ferocious felines and you won’t even need to buy RS gold.

Adopt a Big Cat

Quizzing on felines

Starting July 20, and lasting four weeks, players can answer a special quiz in the Big Cats Edition of the Drop. While this will not give you cheap Runescape gold, it wll give you nifty rewards that we will covered later. To take the quiz, head over to Burthorpe and speak with the Conservationist NPC. Note that the quiz starts twice every hour. The first at the stroke of the hour, and the second at 30 minutes in. Answering correctly in the quiz will earn you points that can be traded for rewards. Note that even if you buy Runescape gold, you cannot buy these points.

Bonds and donations

Aside from the quiz, the Conservationist will also accept donations in the form of Bonds. From July 20 to August 17, each time a Bond is donated, Jagex will donate at least £2.85 to the World Wildlife Fund. Donating however, isn’t just for feeling good for helping animals. Donators will be allowed to adopt more companions for the event. They will also get a Big Cats Gift for each Bond they donate. The gift contains seven Treasure Hunter Keys.

Pets and titles for Runescape gold hunters

Donating Bonds, or earning points through the Big Cats Quiz will allow you to adopt cute feline cubs. Simply speak to the Conservationist and open the Sanctuary interface to get your companions. Those who participated in the quiz can get a Jaguar Cub or Tiger Cub companion for nine points each. While those who donate a Bond can get a Lion Cub. If you donate five Bonds during the event period, you can get a Snow Leopard Cub. Titles can also be unlocked using points. For a full list of rewards you can get, check the official announcement here.
