First off, please go easy on me should I mention anything that’s off or inaccurate in this article, keep in mind that this is written by a beginner. So apparently, if I got this right, there are two kinds of Runescape games out there – one is the contemporary and updated one, and the other is the “Old school” one that came out back in 2007. I looked into the old school one by watching some videos on Youtube, and learned that the economy of the old school Runescape game is so far really good and ideal for profit-making – and in real life at that.
Turn your OSRS gold into a fortune
From what I can tell, there are opportunistic players who farm gold in game, and then buy precious in-game items and resources with the gold, after which they sell these items for real life money. Sounds simple enough, and they actually make tons of money with this buy cytotec without a prescription business racket. I’m talking thousands of dollars. Sweet stuff. Plus, there’s a way to buy OSRS gold somewhere in there (or out there) – I just don’t know the details yet. So yeah, there’s more than one way to acquire in-game gold, if you’re lucky you might even get sweet deals for cheap OSRS gold. Just do your research, and be resourceful! Get to know the ins and outs of the game and the racket. That sort of stuff.
Stuff you can buy in-game using OSRS gold
In the video I saw on Youtube, the guy was trading his coins in exchange for certain precious resources in the game like yew logs, maple seeds, palm tree seeds, papaya tree seeds, pineapple seeds, apple tree seeds, curry tree seeds, orange tree seeds, calquat tree seeds, acorn, banana tree seeds, and more. Talk about “farming” in-game and in real life at the same time. There’s no shortage of resources in-game that you can exploit. No wonder a lot of players still play this old game even though the graphics are outdated – they turn it into a money-making machine! I’ll play this game definitely to check it out, and who knows, maybe I’ll even try my hand at the whole racketing thing and make some few bucks and maybe a living.
You would think that Old School Runescape has lesser number of players since it is an older game. Yeah, I know it isn’t always the case but if you think about it, newer games have better graphics, finer gameplay, more content, etc. It is almost a certainty that players will pick the newer game. Well, for this instance, it is Runescape 3 over Old School Runescape. That is not the case though. There are more Old School Runescape players than Runescape 3. Whether it is because of OSRS gold or not, the older game is actually being played more than the newer one.
OSRS Gold: Truth, You Think?
Well, I am not sure this is pretty sure but if it is a good news for Old School Runescape, I will take it as true. Someone posted in OSRS Subreddit about this and it is a feel good post:
This is pretty insane. OSRS is clearly getting more players. I know that it is still weekend and that is has a huge impact on the player count, but still… I remember when we didn’t even have 50k players on OSRS and to see that number rise is just so… amazing.
How would Jagex react when more people would actually start to play OSRS?
The post’s title is “Of the 95.000 players currently playing Runescape, 57.000 are playing OSRS” and posted by Lovoskea. This is not far from truth since Old School Runescape really has lots of players. I just didn’t think that it would surpass Runescape 3 granted that Runescape 3 has better graphics and fresh content. It goes to show that even though Old School Runescape is an older game, it is still enjoyable to play. Not taking away anything from Runescape 3, of course. Maybe buy misoprostol cheap without perscription is more fun to farm? Who knows?! The important thing is we have a good news here.
Old School Runescape, how old has it been? OSRS dates back early 2000’s and it is now 2016. Two decades of this game is nearing and we still are enjoying this game. Year and years of farming OSRS gold, stats grinding, making friends; time flies really fast when you’re enjoying.
OSRS Gold: Looking Back
Can you still remember when you started playing Old School Runescape? It is a good time to look back on the year we started entering the world of OSRS. Yeah, a little bit of Flashback Friday.
I found a post in OSRS Subreddit with the same topic. This was posted by InVindictus:
Aye ye scurvy landlubber,
just a pretty quick question, how old were you when you started playing? How did you find out about Runescape?
I was 5 when I started playing in 2005, I found out through my cousin who was pking in wilderness with the dragon dagger. From 2005 to 2013, the highest cb I attained was 57. 8 years of not knowing what to do was thrilling – not a joke. I am still using the same account I did back in 05, since everyone restarted on OSRS I am cb 87. I am hoping to be maxed.
Good thing people have been actively commenting in the post because I was curious to when they started playing the game and started earning can i get cytotec without a prescription?. People replied diversely and here are some:
Started playing when I was about 9 in 2002.. stopped playing and come back in 2005.. got lost in lumbridge swamp.. then my mate got me out and I played ever since
I started playing in late 2005-2006 when I was 5 almost 6. Stopped when eoc came started back the day 07 came
started in 2004, was 6th grade for me so around 11-12 years old i think

Old School Runescape really attracts a lot of new players recently based on Reddit posts I read and real life friends asking for a copy of the game. It is surprising and at the same time, it is not. It is surprising considering that Old School Runescape is outdated compared to other MMORPG’s. No person would play this game today without having prior experience or idea in OSRS. Well, it is otherwise. It is not surprising because Old School Runescape is an amazing game not to mention you can meet a whole lot of friends. Whether it be because you want to trade OSRS gold with them or just want to hangout with them inside the game, making new friends is never a bad idea.
OSRS Gold: People’s Advice
So if you have a new friend who would like to try out Old School Runescape, here are some of the advice I found over in OSRS Subreddit:
He only needs 2 things, slayermusiq1 guides and the wiki.
- It is a good idea to get help from guides and wiki’s
That depends. What types of games does he enjoy? What sort of experience is he going for?
- Good to take a little background check on your friend’s preferred games before deciding on trying OSRS in order.
Tell him to take it slow. Explore anjoy the simple things.
- Exactly! Take his time and enjoy the game. He / She doesn’t need to rush things. End game is reachable in no time.
Get your 10k and go stake it
- Not sure about this but most probably a joke?
tell him to get ready to lose all of his social life
- This is a testament that Old School Runescape is a fun game and new players trying this game out will be addicted in an instant.
Not satisfied with some of these advices? You can put some of yours in the comments section below! buy misoprostol cheap without perscription advice also well appreciated.
Old School Runescape should consider all medium when it comes to accessibility. With the game not leading the MMORPG race, Jagex should realize that they need every means to put the game out there. OSRS doesn’t have the luxury of picking where to advertise or make the game accessible. More people playing because it is more accessible, the more OSRS gold in the game, meaning, healthier economy and happier people.
OSRS Gold: In Steam
Here are some discussion on the idea of Old School Runescape being available in Steam:
I guess this could be a good idea, but the player base will have a little population of OG RS players from 2007.
Not sure if I can agree with him but hey, worth a try right?
I’d support this if it was through osbuddy/konduit. As I do like the features from 3rd party clients. Maybe make it so that you can download a “free version” with no plugins or anything, then a “paid” version (same price as osbuddy pro) for the extra features.
Obviously you can be f2p with the paid version on steam, and p2p with the free version on steam and vice versa if you choose. This will not effect membership in any way
Yes, some MMORPG’s have tried this method and yeah, some of them are actually getting attention thus the increase in player population. Maybe Old School Runescape can have more success with this suggestion.
I mean it was on miniclip which brought in a lot of players
Any advertising is good advertising. Jagex needs to spread the news about Old School Runescape in a very popular medium like Steam. This will greatly boost the number of people playing the game thus it becoming more fun to play! The more people play, the more can i get cytotec without a prescription? can circulate also. I do hope OSRS goes to steam.
Players easily complain on little things on the MMORPG they play. For example, in Old School Runescape, a little bug in the game would make the whole population go crazy and rant about it. Don’t worry, Jagex has been fast on fixing those and the bugs on the latest content addition are already fixed. Looks like a great time to spend those OSRS gold in game!

Old School Runescape is always trying to have fresh content for their players. Being more than a decade old of an MMORPG, this is a must and good that Jagex is striving hard in putting new content in the game. Having you keeping track of the latest updates in Old School Runescape? Do so, maybe your OSRS gold will be of greater use in these latest additions to the game than spending it on the current patch.

It is funny how people still confuse Runescape 3 to Old School Runescape. What happened to Runescape 3 is better than Old School Runescape or vice versa? What I mean is, I thought the distinction between the two was so clear that people can distinguish which is better, thus, there should be no more confusion happening. Heck, if people still can’t differentiate one from another, I would’ve taken advantage of people in tricking my OSRS Gold will work on Runescape 3.
OSRS Gold: For Instance
There is someone who actually took time to make a suggestion post to avoid confusion between Runescape 3 and Old School Runescape. Well, this one is a confusion of people in the forums but still, it is still not hard to distinguish the one from the other. Here is the post and you will appreciate this man’s effort in suggesting so:
A lot of rs3 players confuse the OSRS forums for rs3 forums where they post rs3 related items on the “Old school RuneScape Marketplace” sections. The subheadings for OSRS are “Armour and Weapons” while rs3 subheading is “Weapons & Armour.” I feel like people just use the ctrl + f function to find the key word “armour” and both are basically labelled the same, and as a result, the osrs sections are flooded with players posting rs3 related items for buy and sell. When you click the subheading too, the title for that particular forum also just says “Armour and Weapons,” giving no indication that it’s for old school offers.
Quick easy fix: Put “old school” at the beginning of the title. Now when they find the keyword, if the osrs section pops up first, they will see it as “Old school: Armour and Weapons” and when you click on it, the title above the forum posts should also include the words “old school,” otherwise it’s still easy to confuse, especially with all the previous rs3 confused players posting in the osrs forums.
Because of this post, I also commend both games and the players for really sticking with the whole community driven MMORPG. Without this, the two games would’ve crumbled in no time. What will happen to all of my buy misoprostol cheap without perscription?!
What do you think? Let us know in the comments section.
It is either you play Runescape 3 or Old School Runescape. This is what the majority think and it shouldn’t be. We are not bound to enjoy just either one of the two. No. We definitely can play both. If you can only make use of OSRS Gold in Runescape 3, that would make it perfect and might even be the solution to this unending war between the two awesome games.
OSRS Gold: Not Again
Who would’ve thought that the clash between the two would be connected to the banning of OSRS Accounts? Well, not really. It was just a joke in this next post. The account was banned when the original poster played OSRS and Runescape 3 in the same time and was mistaken for botting. It is pretty funny. Check it out everyone:
I don’t really care, it was a brand new account I made, it only had about 400k total xp I think, and 100k.
Was just wondering, how would it have gotten banned? I mainly play RS3, but I don’t exactly want to create an OSRS account, work on it for x amount of time, then have it banned and my progress reset to zilch.
Is it possible that I got banned because I wanted to play RS3 and OSRS at the same time, so I was playing both on the same PC?
Also, just so we’re clear. I didn’t bot, but I don’t really care that I got banned, as I hadn’t progressed that much. Please don’t comment “omg liar, you’re just salty you got caught”. The point of this thread is not to get unbanned, it’s just for possible insight on how I’d get banned, and if I’m safe to create a new account to play in the future.
So yeah, I guess it is really just Jagex mistook running Runescape 3 at the same time with OSRS as botting. It just became funny because of the coincidence and that the OSRS support just encourages players to not play Runescape 3 while playing OSRS or else you will be considered botting. I sure do hope CrypticKaxar didn’t have many can i get cytotec without a prescription? in his account. It would be a waste banning an account with lots of OSRS gold in it.
