Old School Runescape may be, uhm, old school but it doesn’t mean that it has no new content or the developers don’t bring in new stuff in the game. As a matter of fact, there will be a new cool addition to the game. When I said cool, it is an ironic adjective to the name of the new challenge which is The Inferno. As a community oriented MMORPG, the arrival of The Inferno is based on what the masses requested and their opinions on it. Again, your OSRS Gold might be the very same currency you have ever since but Jagex will still bring in content to satisfy the players of Old School Runescape.
OSRS Gold: The Inferno – Details
It is already May and the word is that the release of The Inferno is on June 1. So what is this new stuff from the developers? If you don’t know yet, here is a quick background from the OSRS website:
The Hardest Solo PvM Challenge to date
The Inferno is a wave-based PvM challenge found at the core of the volcanic city of Mor Ul Rek. Only the most skilled adventurers will stand a chance of making it to the final wave, and even fewer will survive their encounter with TzKal-Zuk.
The TzHaar insist that outsiders must prove their strength before taking on the challenge of The Inferno. You must make a one-time sacrifice of a Fire Cape in order to convince the TzHaar you’re worthy.
The Inferno will put you up against many new TzHaar enemies and will be a brutal test of skill.
Mistakes will not be forgiven – so play carefully.
Yeah, it is new content but what is in it for players to do this? Well, not only you will earn the respect of the TzHaar, you will also get an Infernal Cape and that is what you want and need! Amazing stats, even greater than that of the Fire Cape. This will definitely boost your killing capabilities.
Your buy genuine cytotec in the u.s. will not help you in this, sad to say. I am looking forward to this and test my skills and hopefully get that Infernal Cape. Are you in for the challenge? Share your comments below!
It’s that time of the year when you stop hunting OSRS Gold and go looking for them Easter Eggs! Yup! It is Easter and Old School Runescape is also celebrating with its own Easter Events. Don’t know them yet? Read on!
OSRS Gold on Easter
Here are the Easter Events details from the OSRS Website
Easter Holiday Event
Spring is in the air, rabbits are hopping in the meadows, and once again there’s a big pink bunny seeking your help for his egg-delivering business.
On the remote land of Wester Island, the Easter Bunny’s son is trying to revitalise the family trade with innovative new flavours for the chocolate eggs. His attempts to spice up the mix haven’t gone well, and he’s getting salty. Help him if you want to earn the prestigious new Easter Egg Helm.
You’ll also unlock all previous Easter holiday event items, plus all the Easter music tracks. Speak to the Easter Bunny, just south of Falador, to find your way to Wester Island.
Pretty exciting right?! But wait, there’s more! OSRS also experienced some changes in their raiding dungeons.
Chambers of Xeric
Some of the chambers within the raiding dungeons are more challenging than others. While they’re never all going to be exactly equivalent, we’ve made some changes here to help with the nastier rooms:
The dragon warhammer’s special attack usually reduces the target’s Defence stat by 30% when it successfully deals some damage. Against Tekton, it now reduces the Defence stat by 5% if you fail to deal damage. The behaviour when you successfully deal damage has not changed.
The portal in Vespula’s room now gives more reward points per unit damage dealt to it. It also spawns some potions on the ground when it is destroyed; these may be picked up by any member of the party, including Iron Men.
The Vanguard previously performed their healing trick when their health differed by 20% or more. This threshold has been increased to 33%.
- Corrupted scavenger
The thieving chests room now gives double its previous reward points for each grub deposited into the trough. The scavenger itself will also require less food before it becomes satiated.
There are now more possible sequences for the challenge rooms, making the order of dungeon rooms a bit less predictable.
I’m pretty OSRS players won’t have time farming cytotec overnight without prescriptionwith this news and so do you! Enjoy Easter with OSRS!
The name of your character in any MMORPG you play is very important. It will be what people regard you in the game and can bring the very first impression to them. If you name your character something like xXxKillaxXx, people can either think of you as a player who poses a big threat in PvP because you are a ‘killa’ or a player who has no creativity because of how you named yourself. Either way, your character’s name is the first thing they will take notice. You might want people to know you are a farmer of OSRS Gold and name yourself Goldberg or whatever. Again, point is your name is the reflection of what you are or want to be.
OSRS Gold: Name Change

Still can’t move on from that horrible experience? Now you can! Old School Runescape will be releasing the names of the inactive characters and will be up for grabs starting the 13th of March! The RuneScape Team
What great news! No Old School Runescape Gold required to change names. You only have to be a Runescape member! Stay informed on the news by following OSRS in different social media!
It is really disheartening to see what’s going on in Old School Runescape recently. Majority of the recent posts in the OSRS or 2007scape Sub-Reddit are about OSRS accounts getting hacked. Well, they are assumed compromised because the owners don’t really know what happened to their accounts. Changes were made to their username or password, OSRS Gold missing, banned from the game are some of the things complained to Jagex. Sadly, Jagex cannot deal with them all at once because again, these types of unfortunate events are becoming all too common. It is really sad.
OSRS Gold: Recent Example
I usually spend time in the OSRS Sub-Reddit to see how the community is and I happened to see this post by tyguy955:
So I logged onto osrs after work and within 20 seconds got a disconnect. After many attempts to log back in (saying wrong username and password) I decided to try changing my password. I was still having trouble logging in then my friend asked if I changed my name and sent me this:
For some reason my username had been changed. Also, I noticed the recovery emails didn’t even have my username, they said “hello character name unavailable” (picture) :
I then tried logging into the runescape website to see if maybe I had been reported for an inappropriate username and had to change it (username was wtf955) and I was greeted by this after attempting to login:
I am also no longer on the high score list. I am positive my account has not been banned, or else it would say so when I attempt to log in, and I would still be able to log into the website (plus I’ve broken no rules) it is as if my account was deleted immedietly after I was disconnected
I’ve submitted tickets and twitter to a jmod but haven’t heard back yet. If anyone can help me out or knows what’s going in I’d very much appreciate your assistance. Thank you
Sure, it looks like he didn’t do some of the account security provided by Jagex but thinking of all the time and hard work spent in his account, it is really frustrating. Yes, anyone can claim that said account was compromised, even the hacker himself but what if he tyguy955 is the real account owner? What if all the generic cytotec in that account was farmed by him? This kind of news doesn’t really generate anything but bad ones. Hopefully, Jagex has made a solution to at least lessen these problems soon or the downfall of the game will be sooner than we think.
So is it worth it to play OSRS? This is definitely something to tackle on. Opinions of Old School Runescape players may vary on this. Some might have fun while playing the game but at the end, they can say it is not worth it. Some may say that the game is not for them because of multiple reasons. Some may say that the game is super awesome because they love farming like grinding for OSRS gold, for example. This topic should garner different opinions and we will discuss on some.
OSRS Gold: Their Opinions
I was browsing the OSRS Subreddit and came upon the topic. Fortunately, there are some people who commented on the topic and gave diverse opinions. Here are some:
It’s worth it when the servers aren’t getting anally raped like they are right now.
This is true. It is really frustrating for players when OSRS servers are not working as intended. With the recent DDoS attacks on Jagex, this comment is pretty much spot on. When the servers are going smoothly though, Old School Runescape is undeniably great.
Ya, lots of fun
Like this second comment. OSRS is sure fun and more if you have lots of how to order cytotec.
nah m8 super waste of life fam, OSRS is worth playing like meth is worth trying.
I can’t fully disagree with this comment though. This guy has a reason for not liking Old School Runescape and how I wish he mentioned it in his comment as well. The reason, that is. Some clever (not really) simile on OSRS being not worth playing won’t just cut it.
Just started a few days ago. It’s pretty damn good.
This one too. I agree, that Old School Runescape is fun but for the sake of discussion and for the people asking the same question, including the reason why the game is damn good would’ve been appreciated.
How about you? What do you like or hate about Old School Runescape? Is it worth playing? Share your insights in the comments section below!
Wouldn’t it be nice if Runescape 3 and Old School Runescape support each other? Yeah, I think the tension between the two MMORPGs will disappear once they help each other out. What am I talking about? Well, one example I can suggest is OSRS Gold can be converted to Runescape 3 and vice versa. Yes it could entail inflation in the economy of either games or maybe otherwise. In my opinion, this will encourage players for both games to entertain the other game they are not playing. I could be wrong though. Still, the purpose is to make a bond between the two games. After all, they are complete different games.
OSRS Gold: Tension
Some people started their Runescape adventure in Runescape 3. Some do hear news that Old School Runescape is better than Runescape 3 while playing RS3. Sad to say, those who gets curious on OSRS, subscribed already in RS3. They have no choice but to subscribe again in OSRS if they want the full experience of Old School Runescape. Knowing that they cannot use the very same subscribed account in RS3 to OSRS, this will more likely deter them from trying out OSRS. Like this guy in OSRS Sub-Reddit who asked if he can use his RS3 subscribed account in OSRS. Here is the original post:
I have an account I made back in 2004 but fucking RS3 is absolute gash. Can I play with that account on osrs with membership?
Sad that he can’t. This is why I am wondering if they will change this and make the dream come true. Subscribe to one account then reward the player to play the two games as a subscriber. Being a subscriber to both, that player can trade how to order cytotec to Runescape 3 and vice versa. That would be awesome and will attract more players to subscribe!
What do you think of this idea? Let us know in the comments section below!
Old School Runescape is an amazing game. We all know that. There is no reason to stop playing this awesome game. Well, not really. This thing called real life will sooner or later give an OSRS player a reason to stop playing, even if just for a short period of time. That is the reality of it. Do not worry though. If one loves the game so much, he will go back to playing Old School Runescape the very moment he is free from the responsibilities of real life. Who would miss a day of farming OSRS Gold right? No sane man would.
OSRS Gold: Sad To Say
You would think that your OSRS account is safe if you need to take a break from Old School Runescape. Yes Jagex made a lot of protection that you can set yourself but if a hacker wants to hack an account, he will. When a hacker hacks your account while you’re on a break from OSRS and report the malicious activities of the hacker in your account that merited the ban of your account, Jagex won’t allow you to petition on taking the ban off of it. Like this guy’s situation:
So for some odd reason my osrs account that i haven’t logged onto for about 3 months was suspected of real life trading? i got an email and everything about it but i have no idea what their talking about. How can i contact customer support and get this fixed?
What if the guy is telling the truth? What if he really stopped playing for three months and within those three months he was away, the malicious activity happened? The point is, there is a way to prove who’s telling the truth. Don’t go crazy with the ban hammer, Jagex. Hopefully this guy gets heard on his side of the case and maybe Jagex considers it. All how to order cytotec will be put to waste if the account is permanently banned.
Posts about Old School Runescape accounts getting hacked or banned due to them getting hacked are getting out of hand. It is about time we remind OSRS players that there’s a solution to all of this. Making your Old School Runescape account secure is easy. Of course, a hacker will get into your account if he really chose to but at least do something to make it hard for him. Do some good measures since it’s your OSRS Gold on the line here.
OSRS Gold: Good Reminder
Here are some tips on how make your Old School Runescape a little bit more secure. This was commented on a topic regarding making an Old School Runescape account more secure:
If you want your account to be safe take these steps.
- Make a completely new email, preferbly with gmail, and change your RS email to it and don’t use the email for another other website.
- Put authenicator on your email and on your RS account.
- Put a bank pin on your RS account
- Don’t click on suspicious links on RS Youtube videos, Twitch stream/Youtube “giveaway”s, or links in Teamspeak. Hell, I would go as far to say don’t even use TS.
This was commented by Damen_aka_Ron_Ron. These are some good measures to apply on your Old School Runescape Account to protect your how to order cytotec. If you are aware about the numerous banning of OSRS accounts, the owners of those accounts usually say that they didn’t do anything wrong and what transpired in their accounts while they were gone or logged-out, who knows. We just assume they were done by hackers. So yeah, it will be very wise to do those what Damen_aka_Ron_Ron mentioned to protect your account.
Are there any more safety measures for OSRS accounts that you might want to share to protect all of those OSRS gold? Share them in the comments section below!
I really think the reason why people are still playing Old School Runescape or old players are going back to the game is because of nostalgia. I am not saying that the game sucks so bad that nostalgia is the only good thing about it. No, the memories of the early days up to somewhere like 2010 still gets to OSRS players and that is the biggest key why OSRS still holds a number of solid players. Whether they farm OSRS gold or PvP the hell out of other players, I am pretty sure that nostalgia is the firm reason of why they are sticking to the game.
OSRS Gold: Not Helping
Jagex and OSRS players are happy that people are going back to the game since more players means more fun. These returning players expect that their accounts are still alive and they log back into them. Unfortunately, most of the time, their accounts have been hacked and those hackers usually do some malicious activities with them. This results to the comeback players’ account being permanently banned. Like this guy’s post in OSRS Sub-Reddit:
I haven’t played OSRS since October of 2015, I just wanted to log back on and play for a little bit and saw that my account received a permanent ban for Macroing.
This is super strange, because I’ve never Macro’d in my entire life. Never in my history of playing this game have I used a 3rd party client, so I’m pretty confused how this happened.
Is there anyway person I can contact to get this looked at?
You would know that he has no freaking idea as to why his account was banned. All he knew was he stopped from playing the game, missed it and came back. When he tried to, well, it’s permanently banned. People are saying that banned accounts have no chance on getting appealed to and they cannot recover them. All the how to order cytotec, gone. All in-game items, gone. We like the fact that the game gets people back because of nostalgia but if a permanent ban is the only thing that will welcome these players and there is no solution to this, it will be just another sad OSRS story.
