Old School Runescape, how old has it been? OSRS dates back early 2000’s and it is now 2016. Two decades of this game is nearing and we still are enjoying this game. Year and years of farming OSRS gold, stats grinding, making friends; time flies really fast when you’re enjoying.
OSRS Gold: Looking Back
Can you still remember when you started playing Old School Runescape? It is a good time to look back on the year we started entering the world of OSRS. Yeah, a little bit of Flashback Friday.
I found a post in OSRS Subreddit with the same topic. This was posted by InVindictus:
Aye ye scurvy landlubber,
just a pretty quick question, how old were you when you started playing? How did you find out about Runescape?
I was 5 when I started playing in 2005, I found out through my cousin who was pking in wilderness with the dragon dagger. From 2005 to 2013, the highest cb I attained was 57. 8 years of not knowing what to do was thrilling – not a joke. I am still using the same account I did back in 05, since everyone restarted on OSRS I am cb 87. I am hoping to be maxed.
Good thing people have been actively commenting in the post because I was curious to when they started playing the game and started earning buy genuine cytotec in the u.s.. People replied diversely and here are some:
Started playing when I was about 9 in 2002.. stopped playing and come back in 2005.. got lost in lumbridge swamp.. then my mate got me out and I played ever since
I started playing in late 2005-2006 when I was 5 almost 6. Stopped when eoc came started back the day 07 came
started in 2004, was 6th grade for me so around 11-12 years old i think

Players easily complain on little things on the MMORPG they play. For example, in Old School Runescape, a little bug in the game would make the whole population go crazy and rant about it. Don’t worry, Jagex has been fast on fixing those and the bugs on the latest content addition are already fixed. Looks like a great time to spend those OSRS gold in game!

Old School Runescape is a great game. Yes it might look old compared to the other massive multiplayer online roleplaying games out there, but heck, OSRS is still fun! The proof that the game is irresistible for former players is that they come back no matter what the reason is and when they come back. Whether they like leveling or making OSRS gold, important is they play the game again. People won’t come back to an MMORPG that is outdated if it is not good. Common sense, right? It is just great of a game that new and even old players still go back to playing Old School Runescape.
OSRS Gold: Perfect Example
Not all comebacks are good. Sometimes you get back to the MMORPG because you miss it but the realization of coming back without anyone to play with is just horrible. Even so, if the game is so good, this will not be the end of playing the game again. Take this post by LazyNite in the OSRS Sub-Reddit:
I am playing on my account I’ve had since 2001.
I’ve been back for a couple months on osrs but something has always felt a little off putting.
Today I discovered what that feeling was, and fixed it all at once.
I deleted the huge list a old friend names that I knew would most likely never log back in.
The game feels better now knowing that I can meet new people in game and they will actually be active instead of just looking at a list of good times with old frienda, but never making new friends.
Sorry just wanted to get that out there!
This is just proof that whether all the people you used to play with in Old School Runescape aren’t playing anymore, it is not enough of a reason not to play again. How great OSRS is still beats that little reason. LazyNite thought of a good thing also of “If my old friends in the game don’t play anymore, then I just make new friends then.” That’s a good mentality. New friends to share buy genuine cytotec in the u.s. with. Right? Hope to hear from LazyNite on his comeback to OSRS.

There are many Runescape 3 players that are formerly Old School Runescape players. It could be that OSRS got old for them that merited the transfer to Runescape 3 or they just found Runescape 3 more fun to play. Whatever the reason is, for sure, they enjoyed Old School Runescape as well. I would bet all of my OSRS gold that they did have fun in Old School Runescape.
OSRS Gold: Curious
For those who moved on to Runescape 3 and never looked back, they don’t know the reasons why people stuck on playing Old School Runescape. Like this guy posted in Old School Runescape Sub Reddit, he left OSRS for a reason and now plays Runescape 3. He is curious to what the reasons people stayed playing Old School Runescape that he posted this:
RS3 player here. I originated in OS, but switched to 3 mostly because the obsidian maul ruined lower level pking and I didn’t want to put in all the work to get to higher levels just to pk at all, skilling felt too slow, and not feeling any motivation to keep going. I’m curious what you personally like in OS that makes you play it over RS3. Pure nostalgia? More “rewarding” skilling? A bigger pking community? I’m genuinely curious.
Old School Runescape players just like how it is true to how it was back in 2007. The old system of combat plus the nostalgic feel of the game is a great plus for Old School Runescape players. The distinction of the two also in terms of the PvP and PvE aspects, OSRS players still love the Old School Runescape mechanics. It just all boils down to preference. No need to think about the reasons and compare the two games. To me, this just instigates hatred among the two and is completely unnecessary. I just still love farming my buy genuine cytotec in the u.s. in OSRS.
Old School Runescape is, well, old. It has been up since 2013 but captured the 2007 video game. So basically, the game we love today is from 2007. Therefore, it is old. It is very fortunate that Old School Runescape is still alive up until now even though it isn’t so fresh like these new MMORPGs that come out recently. This is all thanks to the community or the players that keep supporting the game. These people keep on voicing out that OSRS should stay alive because they love the game so much convince Jagex, the developer, to keep on running the game. The important thing is, Old School Runescape is still playable and being supported by the gaming company which developed the game. Like how you cherish your OSRS Gold.
Sometimes We Have This
As a community driven MMORPG, Jagex entertains a lot of players’ opinion and suggestions. Polls are being set up to get feedback from players on what they are planning or what the general population wants for the game. Sometimes this is bad. Not all feedbacks are good for the game. I do not know how Jagex filters the good ideas from the bad ones but I really think that they are doing a good job in doing so. Take this post for example coming from Reddit:
How about we just leave the game as it is? no new items, no new skills, no new anything. Just let it be the old school RuneScape instead of constantly making new content.
He has point. Old School Runescape is becoming something different from what we enjoyed way back 2007. The very meaning of having an Old School Runescape is to continue on experience the game that prospered a decade ago. So for him, adding new content will make OSRS not OSRS anymore.
What’s bad about his opinion will go back to my introduction, OSRS is old. People will not play the game over and over again if there will be no new content. There is nothing new to the game. Nothing new to do and that is bad.
How about you? What do you think about his post? What do you think should be the path for OSRS? Let us know in the comments section your good stuff. As good as generic cytotec online no prescription
Have you tried subduing the Wintertodt in Old School Runescape? If not, you are missing a lot since it is a good source of Old School Runescape Gold. What is Wintertodt anyways? I got its definition in the 2007scape Wikia:
The Wintertodt is an unknown entity that brings unfathomable cold to the abandoned and desolate reaches ofZeah. According to the look-out, it is unclear what the Wintertodt actually is, but its ability to alter the weather to such extremely low temperatures has earned it notoriety among the people of Great Kourend.
It is like a little blizzard of some sort. Players need to suppress it in order for the people (NPCs) to be safe.
Pretty neat activity in Old School Runescape, right? It would be a great activity to do in the game. Well, someone had to say something about it and it is not a good opinion.
Old School Runescape Gold: Little Opinion
I know I’ll probably get hate and downvoted for this, but personally I dislike the way wintertodt currently is. I do like that there’s a new option for players to train it, just for me personally it’s OP and easy money. I feel like Jagex catered to lazy players who couldn’t be bothered to train firemaking the old way. While I understand the old way was really click intensive and boring, it required logs and took logs out of the game. Since wintertodt there’s so many logs and other supplies coming into the game. Firemaking has never been a money making skill. I’m not saying Wintertodt is afk or that it’s easy, I personally just think it’s OP. I know a lot of people will deny this, but apart of me feels like people are denying this because they don’t want it to get nerfed and the people who do agree with me will only change their mind after they’ve achieved 99. Wintertodt is currently better xp than burning magic logs and the people who got 99 on magic logs before wintertodt are people who are genuinely rich and can afford it. Even if Wintertodt got nerfed xp wise, people would still do wintertodt to 90 as you make money and not as much work required. Firemaking was once one of the rare capes as most people found it “useless or boring to train” to me, this wasn’t the way to go about it as it’s a bit like bonfires to me. Not completely the same as you need to chop the roots and eat occasionally, but you get my point. Why do OSRS say they don’t want easyscape, yet continue to vote this kind of stuff in? I don’t mind Wintertodt, I just think it’s OP and you shouldn’t make money from it. Why not add a fee to take part in Wintertodt, so at least then there’s some money coming out of the game? /over
This is the post of 346346363 in the OSRS subreddit. I think he makes sense but of course there would think otherwise. What do you think? Do you think Wintertodt is too easy for leveling and making i want to buy pregnizone without a prescription therefore it being OP? Let us know in the comments section below!

Are you ready for this? If not, go prepare the things needed in order for you to be able to attend this year’s Runefest! Set aside your i want to buy pregnizone without a prescription farming and mark the day. Runefest 2016 everyone! Mark your calendars!
Players of the game seem like they always have millions and millions of Old School Runescape gold. How do they do that? Let us find out what people said.
Old School Runescape Gold Please
Actually it just occurred to me when I bumped into this post by Rookvrouw_Joke that I don’t have that much i want to buy pregnizone without a prescription compared to many. Well considering that I don’t play that much in a day, but still, I think I am the poorest player in the game. Here is the post and see if you can relate:
I started playing again after a 10 year hiatus and it seems like everyone has millions at their disposal now. The most I’ve made is 100K per hour of killing lava dragons. I still don’t understand where people get their 20M or even 2M.
I started playing a week ago and have almost 50 in all melee stats, 45 mage, but it seems like I can’t accomplish anything that would bring me money. It’s so discouraging seeing everyone with tens of millions in the bank while I am just proud to afford full rune.
How does everyone have so much money now without spending every waking minute grinding for rare drops? What can I do as a mid level player to make these millions? If not now, then what do I focus on to make these millions later without boring myself to death with something like rune crafting?
Are you in the same position like him (and me)? Yeah we deserve all the pity in the world since it seems like we are the only ones who don’t know how to make those OSRS Gold. Like really, how?!
People answered that it is all about grinding and working your gold total slowly. There is no trick to that. So I guess I can’t be rich in the game since I can’t grind it out that much in a day. How about you?
Last time I shared to you guys this interesting story about a guy posting in Reddit about Old School Runescape and how negatively it affected his life. Hopefully, farming Old School Runescape gold so much wasn’t the reason because I love doing that in OSRS.
Old School Runescape Gold: Second Part
Here’s the second part:
Around 2011-2013 when I was doing my a levels and didn’t have rs in my life, honestly it was so much better, I spoke with parents more often again, went to gym and such with mates, focused on my studies more. Up till Osrs was out during spring/summer 2013. Which I played for a month (I really forced myself to quit then) and it did impact on my studies, causing me to score lower marks than expected on my economic exams in summer. Which made me miss my place at a top tier university resulting in going to my insurance(just a lower tier university, still good but I don’t want to mention it)
When I got to university I didn’t play runescape due to not wanting to pay for membership and knew it would impact my studies/life. My first year of university was good, made a lot of friends, understood life more and did well.
When 2nd year came about, I still went strong for the first term, scoring good results, going out with friends, good relation with family.
But up till finding out about f2p osrs release, my life sank again. I got back into osrs, with all the free time I had at uni I just abused it with runescape =/. My week was wake up, go to lectures, come asap back and rs all day. I stopped going out with my friends less and less. And stopped doing homeworks/going over lectures after. Resulting in me barely revising for summer exams and failing 2nd year of uni.
The negative effect of OSRS to him is slowly revealing. Let us see what’s next to his story. Good thing it’s not about i want to buy pregnizone without a prescription specifically or we will have a problem with that.
