All the while, I was thinking that I wouldn’t read another post in Reddit about comparing Old School Runescape and Runescape 3. Yes I know. Who am I fooling? The comparisons between them will not stop. There will be the Old School Runescape fans, protecting the classic game and the modern gamers who like the new Runescape 3. I don’t really see the tension between the two but as a constant visitor in Reddit, I can’t help but come across topics about this. All I want is be at peace with my hard-earned OSRS Gold but no, I like to go to Reddit and stress myself with this nonsense.

OSRS Gold: The Post

It has been peaceful for awhile and I saw this post entitled “OSRS too successful, too many RS3 players coming over” and the entry was this:

Lots of people are switching from rs3 and are now asking for their favorite piece of shit content from that game to be added to osrs. Why’d even switch games if you’re just going to try to turn this one into that one?

Reading the title, I thought to myself, “Who cares?!” Apparently, I did because I opened the thread. LOL to myself. Anyways, really, it would be good news for us Old School Runescape players since RS3 players switching to our game. This also means that we are winning the “which is the better game” battle. Not that I want to be involved in that debate but yeah, RS3 players going to OSRS is a victory for us.

The issue brought by this is that these migrants are asking OSRS should have some of the Runescape 3 features. Really? Why would you even switch games if you want the same things from the previous game you were playing? The reason you switched games is because the game you were playing lacks many things that merited you to, well, migrate. Upon arrival, you want OSRS to be like RS3? I’d smack every single Old School Runescape Gold that I have to these people who have this logic.
